Cikarang Dry Port Tariff Officially Enacted on 28 August


CIKARANG, – Government through Ministerial Decree of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), starting at 00.00 Western Indonesia Time, August 28, 2018, the tariff for Dry Port in Cikarang is officially enforced. With Number 561 / KPTS / M / 2018 concerning the Establishment of Motorized Vehicle Type Groups and Toll Tariff Rates on the Cikarang Access Port Access Road as part of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road. This decree was determined by Minister of PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono in Jakarta, Monday (8/20).

In accordance with Decree No. 561 / KPTS / M / 2018 class type of motorized vehicles access to Cikarang Dry Port Access on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road as follows:

Vehicle Type Group

  1. I Sedan, Jeep, Pick Up / Small Truck, and Bus
  2. II Truck with 2 (two) axles
  3. III Truck with 3 (three) axles
  4. IV Truck with 4 (four) axles
  5. V Trucks with 5 (five) axles

The toll road users heading to Cikarang Dry Port will make payments at the North Cikarang Toll Gate with the tariff of each class being IDR I 4,500, Group II and III IDR 6,500, and Group IV and V IDR 9,000.

In its release, AVP Corporate Communication Dwimawan Heru, said that one of the dictums in the Decree stated that, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk., as the management of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, they have the right to refuse in putting in or out toll road users who did not meet the cargo limit requirements for the heaviest axis at the Toll Gate (GT) nearest the toll road.

“The implementation of the regulations and control of supervision of the heaviest axle load limits is carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Transportation in accordance with the provisions of the legislation,” he said.

The Dry Port Access Road with a length of 3.06 km is an extension of the gate of the Tanjung Priok International Port. With the Cikarang Dry Access Road, it will reduce the excess capacity of Tanjung Priok Port and unload the trucks at the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road. (TPP)
