JAKARTA, presidentpost.com – PT Jasa Marga (Persero) has signed the Toll Road Concession Agreement (PPJT) for the Jakarta-Cikampek II south section. President Director of PT Jasa Marga, Desi Arryani, said the construction of the new toll road will begin in the middle of next year.
“Next year we will start the construction, in the second semester,” she said on Monday (12/18).
Desi added that the construction can only be done next year because the land acquisition is still underway and would need about six months to complete.
“The land acquisition has not finished yet. If the land acquisition has reached at least 25%, then the construction can be started,” she added.
The toll road of Jakarta-Cikampek II south section connect Jatiasih, Cipularang, and Sadang with the length of 64 kilometers. It is longer than the Jakarta-Cikampek elevated toll road which is currently under construction.
The Jakarta-Cikampek II toll road south section is located on the south side of the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road. This project is valued at Rp14.6 trillion. The construction will be done by PT Jasa Marga Japek Selatan whose shareholders are PT Jasa Marga and PT Wira Nusantara Bumi.
“While waiting for the land acquisition complete, we are also holding the tender for the construction needs, so that once the land is ready, the construction can be started right away,” Desi said. (DTK/TPP)
