ThePresidentPost.com – Special Economic Zones (SEZ) Maloy claimed to be able to operate 2018. This was disclosed by the Acting Provincial Secretary East Kalimantan, Rusmadi. According to Rusmadi, SEZ Maloy requires two major infrastructures to operate, the ports and storage tanks.
“It is targeted to operate in 2018. We are waiting for the construction of docks and storage tanks. According to the plan, will begin construction in 2016,” said Rusmadi, Sunday (11/15/2015)
For the construction of the port, said Rusmadi, has no environmental problems. While, for storage tanks are still waiting for help from the Ministry of Industry.
“Environmental issues are no longer a problem. The Ministry of Industry has also committed to build a storage tanks,” he said.
Currently, the East Kalimantan provincial government is working on the infrastructure in the area of Maloy, namely roads, telecommunication towers, offices, to the provision of clean water.
“For clean water we have agreed with the DPRD to be budgeted as a multiyear contract,” he said.
Rusmadi said, until now there are 18 investors who are interested in joining in SEZ Maloy.
“There are national and multinational investors. We are prioritizing investors engaged in the oleochemical first,” he said.(qoi)
