Mandiri’s Subsidiaries Booked Rp2.04 Trillion Profit



Corporate Secretary of Bank Mandiri, Nixon L.P. Napitupulu, said that eight subsidiaries of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. contributed profit of Rp2.04 trillion, or 11.2%. Thus the total net profit of the state-owned bank in 2013 reached Rp18.2 trillion.

He further explained that the company plans to continue to strengthen the subsidiaries’ contribution to business developing. During 2013, the subsidiaries ha made a very good achievement.

He expressed that the developments were encouraging. Therefore, the synergy that is done by each subsidiary showed good results to Bank Mandiri’s business. Thus, it can support the company’s efforts to become the best bank in ASEAN by 2020.

Currently, bank Mandiri has 8 subsidiaries, Bank Syariah Mandiri, Mandiri Securities, Mandiri Tunas Finance, Bank Sinar Harapan Bali, Bank Mandiri Europe (BMEL), and Mandiri International Remittance (MIR) plus AXA Mandiri Financial Services which engages in the life insurance business, and Mandiri AXA general Insurance in general insurance business.
